A faster app
Goodboy opens with a much smaller first load. The session list, inbox, diff files and timeline redraw less when something changes. Finding a session among hundreds is quicker, and new database indexes speed up the common lookups.
Six slow commands no longer hold up the window while they run.
One time format
Times read like "Sep 29" on a 24-hour clock everywhere in the app.
Budget errors in one shape
Budget errors now share one shape, so every screen that reports one reads the same.
A local log in release builds
Release builds write a local log of what the app did, with credentials redacted.
Fixed
- Switching or disconnecting a workspace now stops blocked and deciding work too, and the confirmation says "active" sessions.
- Copying a report that fails now shows an error instead of opening GitHub with nothing on the clipboard.
- The diff, the change counters and the ahead and behind distance follow the base branch you chose.
- Git calls time out after 30 minutes and network calls after 30 seconds.
