Goodboy 0.12.1

Rewrite history is rebuilt: drag commits to fold, squash or move them, and see what the branch becomes before you apply.

New

Rewrite history as two graphs

The branch is drawn as it is Now, next to what it becomes After Apply, with a color for each kind of change. Drag a commit between two others to move it, or onto another to fold it in, and rename, squash or remove it from the row, its menu, a right click or Cmd+K. Every planned change is listed and can be undone on its own.

Every rewrite is tried on a copy first

Apply tries each change on a temporary copy and checks the result, and only then moves your branch. If a step stops, the page says which one and why, and your branch stays exactly as it was.

Backups you can restore

Every rewrite saves a backup first. The result shows it with Restore it, and Backups on the page lists the older ones. Apply and update online replaces the online branch only when nothing newer is there.

Fixed

  • Goodboy no longer grants Codex in workspace-write mode or Claude outside bypass mode write access to its data folder. The query socket now has a folder of its own.
